Hamas Movement called on the Palestinian people to escalate clashes with Israeli occupation forces (IOF) across the occupied homeland in response to the planned provocative flag march in occupied Jerusalem on Sunday.
Let’s make tomorrow a hell for the occupation the Hamas statement read on Saturday calling for intensifying Palestinian presence in al-Aqsa Mosque.
“Let’s keep our flags flying high and theirs down. Let’s raise our Takbeer over their racist slogans.”
The group further called for intensifying popular resistance against the IOF by all possible means in defense of al-Aqsa and Jerusalem.
The statement pointed to the escalated Israeli attacks on the holy shrine over the past days stressing that a comprehensive Intifada would be the sole option to check Israeli attacks on holy sites.
Last week the Israeli security minister Omer Barlev said that the police would approve the flag march based on recommendations from security agencies.
In this regard the US administration asked Israeli officials on Thursday to reconsider the decision to allow the right-wing settler march of flags to take place in the Old City of Occupied Jerusalem.
Palestinian resistance groups have also threatened that they will not allow Israeli “provocations” to go by unanswered.
