The Hamas Movement has affirmed that the Palestinian people will never forget the Israeli occupation state’s ongoing crimes against them and will continue their struggle for liberation and return.
“The occupation’s crimes and massacres against our land and people are imprescriptible … and we will remain loyal to the martyrs’ blood and sacrifices and uphold their path until the occupation is ousted and removed from our land” Hamas said in a statement on the 74th anniversary of the Deir Yassin massacre.
“The Israeli plans targeting Jerusalem the West Bank Gaza and the Aqsa Mosque are a continuation of the criminal approach and behavior upon which this criminal entity was founded but all of this will neither break our people’s will nor prevent them from upholding the path of comprehensive resistance until their legitimate rights are fully wrested” the Movement underlined.
The Deir Yassin massacre took place on April 9 1948 when around 130 members of the extremist Jewish groups Irgun and Lehi massacred about 300 Palestinian civilians including women and children in Deir Yassin village near Occupied Jerusalem.
