Hamas spokesperson for Jerusalem Mohammed Hamada considered the continuation of the Israeli settlement activity in Jerusalem including the construction of tunnel systems that the Israeli occupation’s municipality plans to build a part of its aggressive plans to Judaize the holy city.
In a statement issued Tuesday Hamada stressed that such schemes are aimed to fabricate history change the Arab and Islamic landmarks of Jerusalem and facilitate the access of Israeli settlers to the holy city.
Jerusalem will remain the eternal capital of Palestine and the Israeli occupation’s attempts to end the Palestinian presence in the city will fail he continued.
He concluded by stressing that the Palestinian people will stand steadfast in the face of the Israeli colonial plans.
