Member of Hamas’s political bureau Hisham Qasem has applauded the Salfit resistance attack that took place on Tuesday morning as “heroic” and “a reflection that the resistance operations are ongoing to respond to the Israeli occupation’s daily crimes and violations.”
In a statement Qasem said that the resistance operations “act as a bulwark for the Palestinian people against the occupation state’s persistence in killing them displacing them and demolishing their homes without deterrence or restraint.”
“What the Palestinian resistance has done today in Salfit and previously in different West Bank cities indicate that the Israeli occupation government’s claims about dealing heavy blows to resistance cells were a failed attempt to pull the wool over its audience’s eyes and allay their security fears” the Hamas official underlined.
“The growing resistance operations which take different forms send a clear message to the occupation state that its use of threats and intimidation in recent times will never scare our resistance fighters but rather it will increase their resolve and make them more determined to challenge the occupation which has elected right-wing fascist forces in a desperate attempt to restore its lost security and crumbling deterrence” he added.
