The Hamas Movement has reiterated “the Palestinian people’s right to resist the Israeli occupation and defend their land with all legitimate means especially the armed struggle.”
“The Zionist occupation forces and settler gangs have escalated their frenzied aggression against our steadfast people in the West Bank and Jerusalem which leads to an increase in the number of martyrs the wounded and detainees and results in the destruction of property and the burning of crops” Hamas said in a press release on Sunday.
The Movement mourned 18-year-old Badawi Masalmeh who was shot dead on Saturday by Israeli forces in al-Khalil.
“[This young man’s] dream was to see Palestine free without occupation and settlement and this dream will come true through the resistance” Hamas said.
