The Hamas Movement has said that Israel’s persistence in attacking peaceful protesters and resistance fighters in the Gaza Strip has required a rapid response from the resistance.
In Twitter remarks Hamas spokesman Fawzi Barhoum asserted the resistance’s readiness to defend its own people and protect their interests.
“All the consequences resulting from its persistence in committing follies would prove the failure of its policies and its wrong calculations and it has to bear those consequences” the spokesman added.
An Israeli drone at dawn Wednesday bombed a civilian car in Gaza injuring one citizen and causing some damage to nearby homes.
The Palestinian resistance in turn retaliated to the aerial attack by firing a barrage of projectiles at Israeli targets near the border with Gaza.
