Senior Hamas official Zaher Jabbarin has said that “his Movement is doing everything it can to have its heroic prisoners released” describing its position in this regard as “clear and straightforward.”
“Hamas will never leave the prisoners fighting their battle alone against the Israeli prison service” Jabbarin stated in remarks published on Saturday on Hamas website.
“The occupation state only deals with the prisoner exchange file through the media without any tangible change on the ground” he said.
“For about eight months there has been no progress in this file” he added.
The Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails announced on Saturday their intention to disband the committees representing them tomorrow as part of the protest steps they launched recently to pressure Israeli jailers to end their repressive measures.
