Hamas accuses Fatah mutineers of coordinating with IOF to destabilize security

Sunday 28-October-2007

GAZA (PIC)– Hamas Movement has strongly condemned Friday the bombing incident in the southern Gaza Strip city of Khan Younis that was carried out by elements of the mutiny trend of Fatah faction on orders of their Ramallah-based masters.

In a statement it issued and a copy of which was obtained by the PIC Hamas Movement affirmed that the repeated bombing incidents committed by the Fatah criminals in different locations of the Strip indicate beyond reasonable doubt that their was an organized plan concocted by a certain group based in Ramallah city and known for its close ties and coordination with the Israeli occupation government with the aim to destabilize security in Gaza Strip.

However the Movement warned Fatah “mercenaries” of replicating the bloody role of the US-backed mercenaries in the war-torn Iraq of killing civilians and carrying out bombings in crowded places.

“Remnants of the treasonous trend of Fatah  insist on their destructive role complementing the atrocities of the Zionist enemy with the aim of  destabilizing [the Gaza Strip] and creating [a state of ] insecurity for the Palestinian people” the Movement underlined.

Six Palestinian citizens including resistance fighters died in fierce armed clashes between Palestinian resistance fighters led by the QB the armed wing of Hamas and IOF troops attempting to advance into the Shajaia suburb east of Gaza city.

The IOF incursion was botched as Palestinian resistance fighters succeeded in repelling the invaders and forcing them to pull out of the area.

On Saturday at dawn and after the exemplary resistance demonstrated by the QB fighters a group of mutineers detonated a bomb in a parked jeep belonging to the PA intelligence department in Khan Younis city but no causalities were reported in the incident.

Prior to the bombing incident another group of  mutineers torched a vehicle belonging to a PA civil defense officer in Gaza city.

Amidst those security developments Hamas Movement called on the PA interior ministry to chase and to arrest the perpetrators and to prosecute them over their heinous crimes.

The Movement also called on Palestinian families to closely monitor their sons in order not to be exploited and deceived by the Ramallah-based Fatah leaders.

It also deplored the unexplainable silence on the part of the PLO factions in Gaza Strip towards those “treacherous acts” affirming that PLO factions in Gaza Strip must have a say on those malicious plans.

Moreover the Movement confirmed that the closure of the Palestinian charities in the West Bank on orders of Fayyadh was closely coordinated with the IOF troops that rush to seal off any benevolent foundation that Fayyadh’s government was unable to seal off.

Close PA-Israeli security coordination:
For his part Khalid Abu Hilal the secretary general of the Fatah Al-Yasser Movement that split from the mother Fatah faction four months ago over ideological and political differences affirmed that the “unconstitutional” PA installed government of Salam Fayyadh was implementing terms of the roadmap plan against the Palestinian resistance factions.

“The PA security apparatuses and the IOF troops were coordinating and exchanging roles in chasing arresting and targeting Palestinian resistance fighters in the West Bank” the Movement confirmed in a statement it issued Saturday and a copy of which was obtained by the PIC.

The infamous roadmap plan calls on the PA to dismantle armed wings of the Palestinian resistance factions and to confiscate their firearms in order to bring security for Israel which the Fayyadh government had granted at least in the West Bank.

PA arrest campaign against cadres of Hamas persists:
Meanwhile PA security departments loyal to PA chief Mahmoud Abbas continued their unwarranted arrest campaign of  Hamas supporters in the West Bank as they kidnapped four Hamas activists Friday.

The kidnapped Palestinians were picked up from their homes by PA security elements after they savagely stormed those homes in an Israeli-like manner local eyewitnesses confirmed.

Hundreds of Hamas activists were arrested at the hands of Abbas’s security forces in the West Bank despite calls from Palestinian families Palestinian lawmakers on them to halt such shameful practices.
