GAZA (PIC)– The Qassam Brigades the armed wing of the Hamas Movement on Monday fired two mortar shells at an IOF outpost near Mintar crossing east of Gaza city.
The armed wing in a communiqué said that its fighters also managed to shoot an Israeli settler in the same area before noon and that ambulance cars were seen rushing to the scene.
It said that the operations were in retaliation to the IOF troops’ continued crimes in lines of the Palestinian people in the West Bank.
IOF sources acknowledged that the settler was hit and described his injuries as moderate.
In an unrelated development a Quds Brigades activist was killed at noon Monday when a powerful explosion rocked his home in Shati refugee camp in Gaza city.
