GAZA (PIC)– The Hamas Movement has asked all Palestinian resistance factions to be on the alert and to prepare for an upcoming Israeli invasion of the Gaza Strip.
Sheikh Yousef Farahat one of the Hamas leaders in the Strip was addressing a rally organized by Hamas Friday evening to mourn the death of a Quds Brigades (Islamic Jihad armed wing) activist during a confrontation with IOF troops in central Gaza on Wednesday.
He stressed that all should be prepared for the confrontation affirming that resistance is the only feasible means to defeat occupation.
He pointed out that all other methods pursued had proven their failure.
The armed wing of Hamas the Qassam Brigades on Friday fired 11 locally made mortar shells at Israeli occupation forces’ positions in central and northern Gaza.
It said that the shelling was in retaliation to the incessant IOF raids into “the liberated Strip’s lands”.
