The Hamas Movement has blessed the stabbing operation carried out by a Jerusalemite young man which resulted in injuring three Israeli soldiers in the Old City of Jerusalem.
In a press statement on Thursday Muhammad Hamadeh spokesman of Hamas for Occupied Jerusalem hailed the bravery of the 20-year-old Husam Halabeyyeh who carried out the stabbing operation.
Spokesman Hamadeh stressed that such operations reflect the Palestinian people’s determination that Jerusalem is the core of the Palestinian struggle with the Israeli occupation.
He affirmed that the Palestinian people will not stand idle by while Israel is attacking Jerusalem and its holy sites adding that continuous resistance is the only means to confront the Israeli violations.
Earlier in the morning Husam Halabeyyeh was shot dead after carrying out a stabbing operation in the Old City of Jerusalem.
