The Hamas Movement has called on the Palestinian masses to actively participate in its 35th founding anniversary festival to be held on Wednesday in Gaza City.
In press remarks on Monday Hamas spokesman Abdul-Latif Qanu expressed his belief that the popular participation in his Movement’s founding anniversary festival would be like a new referendum on the Palestinian resistance and a renewed show of support for the Palestinian people’s rights and their struggle against the Israeli occupation.
Spokesman Qanu added that his Movement made all the preparations to receive the massive crowds of citizens who would flock from different areas of the Strip to the Katiba al-Khadra (Green Brigade) plaza in Gaza City to attend the event.
