The Hamas Movement has affirmed the importance of preserving the security and stability of Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon especially Ein al-Hilweh camp.
This came during a meeting held on Thursday at the headquarters of Hamas in the camp between senior officials from the Movement and a delegation from al-Taira neighborhood which had seen security unrest in recent months.
The two sides discussed several issues of mutual interests especially with regard to the Palestinian cause in general and the reconstruction of al-Taira neighborhood in Ein al-Hilweh camp in particular.
The two sides agreed on the need to make every effort to reconstruct the neighborhood and compensate those affected by the armed clashes that happened in the camp.
