The Hamas Movement has condemned Monday’s Cairo bombing incident and offered its sincere condolence to the victims’ families.
On his Twitter page Hamas spokesman Hazem Qasem expressed his Movement’s deep sympathy with Egypt and its people and conveyed its wish for a speedy recovery to those who were wounded.
At least 20 people were killed and 47 were injured including some in critical condition in a blast on Monday night outside a hospital in Manyal neighborhood in Cairo.
The Egyptian interior ministry said the car which collided with other vehicles in the area was carrying explosives.
According to the ministry the vehicle was on its way to carry out a terror attack elsewhere and that the target of the planned attack is still unclear.
