Hamas condemns Egypt for detonating Gaza tunnel leaving three dead

Hamas Movement offered Saturday morning condolences to the families of three Palestinians who died at dawn when the Egyptian army detonated a commercial tunnel they were inside in Rafah area south of the embattled Gaza.

Hamas strongly condemned the “painful” incident saying that Egypt’s “dangerous ways of dealing with people in Gaza Strip are unjustified.”

The Movement also called upon Egyptian authorities to permanently open the Rafah crossing between Gaza and Egypt “to end the people’s suffering in Gaza Strip.”

It also stressed the urgent need for an international intervention to put an end to Israel’s unfair siege on Gaza Strip.

Three Palestinian workmen died and five others suffered injuries at dawn Saturday when the Egyptian army detonated a commercial tunnel they were inside in Rafah area.

The victims were identified as Abdullah Annamouli 23 Salama Abu Shusha 24 and Obaid Assufi 25.
