Hamas spokesman Hazem Qassem on Saturday condemned the Israeli attack on Syria’s Damascus International Airport in which five soldiers of the Syrian army were killed.
In a press statement spokesman Qassem stressed the Movement’s support for the Syrian people while confronting the repeated Israeli aggressions.
Qassem affirmed that the Israeli aerial bombing of Syria constitutes an extension of the Israeli aggression in the region.
Israel had carried out an airstrike on Syria’s Damascus International Airport and other positions south of the capital at dawn Saturday killing five soldiers and causing material damage according to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA).
