The Hamas Movement has condemned the Israeli aggression that targeted the suburbs of the Syrian capital of Damascus on Monday morning.
In a press statement on Monday the Hamas spokesman Jihad Taha said that such an aggression is a continuation of the “barbaric war” launched by Israel against the Arab nations and their capabilities.
Spokesman Taha affirmed that this offensive requires unity of ranks to confront Israel that threatens Palestine and the Arab nations.
The Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported that the Israeli missiles hit targets near the Syrian capital Damascus in a rare daytime attack.
Earlier on Friday Israel carried out an airstrike on the Syrian capital of Damascus and its southern suburbs according to SANA.
The Syrian military said later that Syrian air defenses shot down most of the Israeli missiles fired at Syrian military positions adding that only material losses were inflicted.
