The Hamas Movement has strongly denounced the Israelioccupation authority for persisting in closing the Ibrahimi Mosque to Muslimworshipers in al-Khalil City and allowing Jewish settlers to desecrate it tohold Talmudic rituals and mark religious occasions.
In press remarks on Thursday Hamas spokesman Abdul-LatifQanu said that preventing Palestinians from exercising their right to worshipand pray at their Islamic holy sites is a blatant violation and a flagrantdisregard for the Muslim nation’s feelings.
Spokesman Qanu affirmed that Israel’s plans and attempts toJudaize the Ibrahimi Mosque and falsify the Palestinian people’s history andholy sites would only increase their adherence to their rights and make them moredetermined to wrest them from their enemy.
He urged the Palestinian masses to confront Israel’s viciousaggression against the Ibrahimi Mosque and thwart its Judaization plans.
The Israeli occupation army last Tuesday announced theclosure of the Ibrahimi Mosque in the Old City of al-Khalil to Muslimworshippers until Friday night to allow Jewish settlers to enter it to mark theSukkot occasion.
