The Hamas Movement has strongly denounced the settler violations that happened under police protection at the Greek Orthodox Chapel and Garden in Occupied Jerusalem on Monday morning.
“Such barbaric behavior reflects the culture and spirit of hatred that is practiced by the occupation against other religions and against our Islamic and Christian holy sites” Hamas stated on Tuesday.
The Movement affirmed that the Palestinian people would stand in the face of such Israeli violations and protect their holy sites and their freedom of worship and belief.
It called on the international community to condemn what happened on Monday to church property belonging to the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate in the holy city.
