OCCUPIED JERUSALEM (PIC)– Hamas has expressed its deep concern about the new immoral campaign of home raids and detentions waged by the PA security apparatuses in the West Bank against the Palestinian families of Hamas-affiliated martyrs prisoners and those who are wanted by the Israeli occupation.
In a communiqué received by the PIC Hamas reported that PA security elements broke at noon Friday in Nablus into the house of the late Sheikh Sa’id Bilal one of the most prominent leaders of Hamas prevented the women from covering their heads with Hijab (Islamic veil) and rounded up his two sons Bakr and Omar and his grandson Sa’id. It pointed out that the rest of his sons are prisoners serving high sentences in Israeli jails.
The communiqué added: “The PA security apparatuses stormed and ransacked savagely on Thursday also in Nablus the house of the martyr leader Jamal Salim who was assassinated by the IOF troops maltreated his household and rounded up his brother-in-law and son-in-law before withdrawing from the house.”
Hamas underlined that the storming is in continuation of previous arbitrary campaigns such as the burning of PLC speaker Dr. Aziz Duwaik’s house and the storming of the houses of MPs Hassan Yousef and Jamal Al-Tawil.
Hamas warned that it will not stay passive anymore towards the moral decadence of PA security apparatuses which desecrated the houses of Palestinian martyrs and prisoners without even taking permission to enter these houses and without allowing women to dress properly confirming that it will deal with those PA transgressors as criminals traitors and thieves.
Hamas strongly called on PA chief Mahmoud Abbas to curb the crimes committed by his security elements against the families of martyrs prisoners and resistance fighters in the West Bank holding him fully responsible for the consequences which will result if he does not control his militia.
In the context of the PA aggressions against Palestinian citizens the PA security elements also kidnapped seven Palestinian citizens in Nablus on Thursday including Shadi Mansour because his relation to martyr Jamal Mansour after storming the Nablus municipality. They also kidnapped Yahya Sharaf at his work place and a university student called Ebrahim Al-Khrouf as he was leaving the Khalil University.
