The Hamas Movement has strongly denounced the Israeli occupation state’s renewed aerial attacks on Syria last night describing them as “part of its repeated crimes and acts of bullying against the Arab nation.”
“We reassert our solidarity with Syria in the face of this aggression and we will continue to promote our relations with it to strengthen our ability as a nation to confront such escalating [Israeli] attacks” Hamas spokesman Hazem Qasem said in a press release on Saturday.
“In order to respond in the most appropriate manner to its aggression and colonial behavior against our Palestinian people we should remain united in confronting the Zionist entity” the spokesman added.
Syrian air defenses intercepted an Israeli missile attack over Damascus and the southern region late on Friday and explosions were heard in the capital’s vicinity state media reported.
