Hamas leader Ismail Radwan has stressed that the repeated Israeli settlers’ incursions into the Al-Aqsa Mosque constitute a provocation to the feelings of Muslims all around the world.
In a press conference for Palestinian factions held on Tuesday Radwan said that Israel has “crossed red lines” in Jerusalem and the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Radwan hailed the bravery of Palestinian resistance fighters in the West Bank and Jerusalem calling on Palestinians all over the occupied territories to intensify their presence in the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
He also called on the Palestinians in al-Khalil to confront the escalating Jewish settlers’ attacks urging the Palestinian Authority to halt security coordination with Israel.
Earlier in the morning hordes of Jewish settlers including the extremist rabbi Yehuda Glick protected by Israeli police broke into the Al-Aqsa Mosque through its al-Maghariba gate.
