The Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas condemned the brutal Israeli aggression that targeted Damascus International Airport on Friday.
Jihad Taha the Movement’s spokesman said on Saturday “This aggression again confirms the danger that this entity poses to the interests of our Arab and Islamic nation and calls for confronting it and its terrorism and dangerous practices in the region.”
Syrian official media announced on Friday that “the air defenses confronted an Israeli air aggression which targeted a number of positions in southern Damascus and shot down most of its missiles.”
The official Syrian news agency SANA quoted a military source as saying “At around 4.20 a.m. on Friday the Israeli enemy carried out an air aggression with missiles from the direction of the occupied Syrian Golan Heights targeting a number of positions to the south of the city of Damascus.”
