Hamas Movement expressed its condolences to the families of the victims who died in the train accident that took place in Alexandria city in Egypt on Friday.
In a statement on Friday Hamas expressed deep grief regarding the disastrous train accident which claimed the lives of many Egyptians and extended deepest condolences to the families of those who died in the crash. The Movement also stressed the strength of its historical relations with Egypt.
On Friday August 11 in Egypt two trains collided in Alexandria leaving at least 40 dead and more than one hundred injured according to an initial figure from Egypt’s Health Ministry.
Egyptian Transport Ministry said the crash was probably caused by a malfunction in one train that brought it to a halt on the rails. The other train then crashed into it.
