Hamas Movement expressed deep regret over Saudi Arabia’s decision to open its airspace to all Israeli air carries.
“We reaffirm our rejection of all forms of normalization and contact with the Israeli occupation which continues to practice Judaization and settlement activities and violate the sanctity of Muslim and Christian holy sites” Hamas spokesperson Jihad Taha said in a statement issued Friday.
The spokesman considered the move as a reward to the Israeli occupation following the so-called “Jerusalem Declaration” signed between the US administration and Israel.
Earlier Friday the Saudi General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) said the country’s airspace was now open to all carriers that meet its requirements for overflights a decision that includes flights to and from Israel.
