A delegation from the Hamas politburo is expected to arrive in Egypt on Wednesday at the invitation of the Egyptian intelligence chief Abbas Kamel to discuss a number of Palestinian files most notably the stalled reconciliation with Fatah faction.
Talks between Hamas delegates and Egyptian intelligence officials will take place on Thursday Quds Press reported.
The Hamas delegation is led by deputy head of its political bureau Saleh al-Aarouri and includes Khalil al-Haya Moussa Abu Marzouk Ezzat al-Resheq Hussam Badran and Rouhi Mushtaha.
Nearly a week ago Egypt invited Fatah and Hamas Movements to meet in Cairo to discuss reconciliation efforts.
