A Hamas delegation is scheduled to arrive in Cairo Monday at the request of Egypt to discuss latest developments in the Palestinian situation.
Hamas spokesman Fawzi Barhoum said in a press statement that a Hamas delegation composed of the deputy head of the movement’s political bureau Saleh al-Arouri Mousa Abu Marzouk Khalil al-Hayya Rawhi Mushtaha Ezzat al-Resheq and Husam Badran left Gaza Monday to meet with Egyptian officials.
The PIC reporter said that other Hamas officials abroad will join the delegation in Cairo to discuss central Palestinian issues including reconciliation.
Another delegation from Fatah movement headed by Azzam al-Ahmad arrived in Cairo Sunday evening to discuss Fatah’s vision on the Egypt-sponsored reconciliation.
