Hamas delegation in Yemen on 7th leg of international tour

SANA’A (PIC)– Khaled Mishaal the supreme political leader of the Hamas Movement arrives in Sana’a on Saturday at the head of a delegation on the 7th leg of an international tour during which he is to brief the Yemeni leaders on latest Palestinian developments.

Dr. Mousa Abu Marzouk deputy political bureau chief of Hamas said that the delegates were briefing leaders of countries visited on the Makkah agreement and efforts to rally support for the Palestinian unity government and for lifting the siege imposed on the Palestinian people.

A source in Hamas office in Sana’a said that Mishaal would discuss steps of implementing the Makkah agreement with the Yemeni officials.

He added that the visit to Sana’a falls in line with Yemen’s role in support of the Palestine cause and its constant contacts with various Palestinian factions and the regional and international communities on the Palestinian question.

Yemen had welcomed the Makkah agreement saying it returned national unity to Palestinian struggle and protected the people’s struggle for liberation and independence away from feudal fighting.

The Hamas delegation so far visited Syria Egypt Sudan Russia Malaysia and Iran.
