A Hamas delegation left Gaza Strip on Tuesday heading for Cairo for talks with Egyptian officials.
Hamas spokesman Hazem Qassem said that political bureau member Rawhi Mushtaha headed to Cairo leading a delegation.
He added that the delegates are expected to hold a series of meetings with Egyptian officials to discuss means of alleviating the difficult living conditions in the Gaza Strip in addition to other issues of mutual concern.
Israel closed the Erez and Karam Abu Salem crossings with Gaza Strip on Tuesday without prior notice.
