A high-level delegation from the Hamas Movement led by its political bureau chief Ismail Haneyya is slated to visit the Russian capital Moscow early next week.
An informed source told the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) that Haneyya is scheduled to meet Russian foreign minister Sergey Lavrov on March 2.
Deputy head of Hamas’s political bureau Saleh al-Aruri recently told al-Aqsa satellite channel that Haneyya would visit Moscow in the next few days.
The visit is part of Haneyya’s ongoing foreign tour and aims to make political efforts to rally support for the Palestinian people and their legitimate rights Aruri said.
