A delegation from the Hamas Movement led by its representative in Lebanon Ahmed Abdul-Hadi met with Cuban ambassador Alexander Moraga at the embassy in Beirut on Wednesday.
Abdul-Hadi briefed the ambassador on the latest developments related to the Palestinian cause and stressed the need for the Palestinians and their friends to work together on thwarting Israel’s plans to annex the West Bank.
The Hamas official also talked about the harsh humanitarian and social conditions which the Palestinian refugees suffer from in Lebanon especially during its current economic crisis.
For his part the ambassador affirmed his country’s firm position on the Palestinian question and the Cuban people’s strong support for the Palestinian people expressing his belief that all the Zio-American conspiracies in Palestine would be doomed to failure.
