A delegation of Hamas Movement headed by its representative in Beirut Ali Baraka met the Lebanese Army Chief Maj. Gen. Hatem Malaki in his office in the Lebanese Defense Ministry.
During the meeting the two parties discussed the security conditions of Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon.
They both stressed the importance of reinforcing coordination between Palestinian factions and the Lebanese Army.
Hamas’s representative Ali Baraka renewed his group’s total keenness on Lebanon’s national security and unity.
He also called on the Lebanese government to take into consideration the difficult humanitarian social and political conditions in the Palestinian refugee camps.
For his part Maj. Gen. Malaki praised Hamas’s role in the Palestinian refugee camps and called for activating the Lebanese and Palestinian coordination.
