A Hamas delegation headed by Hamas Political Bureau member Ezzet Resheq met with the Lebanese President Michel Aoun over the latest developments regarding the Palestinian cause.
The Hamas delegation included leader Osama Hamdan the movement’s representative in Lebanon Ali Baraka and the group’s political chief in Lebanon Ahmed Abdul Hadi.
The Hamas leaders hailed the Lebanese President for his pro-Palestine position and support of the cause of Jerusalem and the refugees’ right of return to their motherland—Palestine.
Hamas also spoke out against the US-Israel agenda to liquidate the Palestinian cause and the implications of the so-called “Deal of the Century”.
The delegation also informed Aoun about the peaceful Great March of Return which has come on the 70th anniversary of the Nakba and in response to Trump’s “ill-famed deal”.
Aoun was also updated on Egypt’s efforts to heal the Palestinian internal division and the positive steps taken by Hamas to boost reconciliation.
