Hamas delegation meets ambassadors of a number of countries in Doha

A high-level delegation from Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas met the ambassadors of a number of countries in the Qatari capital Doha on Saturday

The delegation included the head of the Arab and Islamic Relations Office in Hamas Khalil Al-Hayya the member of the Political Bureau Hossam Badran and the members of the Relations Office Ibrahim Salah Khaled Qaddoumi and Taher Al-Nono.

Al-Hayya put the Algerian ambassador in Qatar Mustafa Boutoura in the picture of the Palestinian situation in general and Jerusalem in particular calling on Algeria to persist in its efforts to unify the Palestinian position starting with the restructuring of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO).

Al-Hayya said that the Palestinian people today consider resistance as the only way to extract their rights and the only one capable of curbing Israel’s arrogance.

Algerian ambassador welcomed the Hamas delegation stressing his country’s support for the Palestinian issue and its continued efforts to achieve Palestinian reconciliation.

The Movement’s delegation also met the Turkish ambassador in Qatar Muhammad Mustafa Kokso and reviewed the violations of Israel in Al-Aqsa and its attempts to divide Al-Aqsa temporally and spatially.

The delegates pointed out “We have no choice but to resist the occupation as we are facing the last occupation in the world”.

The Turkish ambassador affirmed his country’s commitment to the Palestinian issue and rights.

The Hamas delegation also met the chargé d’affaires of Afghanistan in Qatar Muhammad Naeem and congratulated him on the opening of the Afghan embassy in Qatar and assigning him the duties of the chargé d’affaires.

The delegation briefed Naeem on the situation in Al-Aqsa Mosque the Israeli occupation’s aggression against worshipers as well as the situation in the West Bank Jerusalem and the 1948 occupied territories.
