A top Hamas delegation on Thursday visited the headquarters of the Amal Movement in Jabal Amel area in the Lebanese City of Tyre and met with its officials.
The delegation included deputy representative of Hamas in Lebanon Ahmed Abdul-Hadi and two other senior officials in the country.
During the meeting Abdul-Hadi hailed Amal chairman Nabih Berri for his efforts to improve the Palestinian situation in Lebanon and his keenness on the Palestinian unity.
The Hamas official also stressed the importance of maintaining cooperation between the two Movements and special relations between the Palestinian refugee camps and their surrounding areas in Tyre City.
For his part Ali Ismail head of Amal in Jabal Amel welcomed members of the delegation and explored with them avenues of cooperation between the two sides.
He expressed his Movement’s ongoing support for the Palestinian national constants and highlighted the centrality of the Palestinian cause in the Arab and Islamic worlds.
