GAZA (PIC)– The Hamas Movement on Tuesday strongly denounced the offensive remarks made by Adnan Al-Dhameeri the spokesman for the PA national security forces on the Palestinian resistance and his denial of the existence of political prisoners in PA jails in the West Bank.
In a press statement received by the PIC Hamas spokesman Fawzi Barhoum said that such statements illustrate the seriousness of the security role taken by these apparatuses and their coordination with the Israeli occupation to liquidate the resistance and damage its reputation.
Barhoum stressed that Dhameeri’s remarks are media fabrications and his claims about the presence of weapons inside mosques are aimed to scare citizens away from mosques and isolate them from their culture and religion as well as to justify any violation of mosques’ sanctity committed by PA security apparatuses and IOF troops in the West Bank.
The spokesman underlined that the real project of the PA security leaders is to arrest resistance fighters protect Israel corrupt the Palestinian society and undermine the Palestinian people’s struggle.
The spokesman emphasized the need to rebuild the PA security apparatuses according to professional and national criteria and criminalize the security coordination with Israel as high treason punishable by law.
In a new development Israeli TV channel 10 reported that the PA in Ramallah decided to stop funding the medical treatment received by Gaza children in Israel hospitals.
Those children who managed to gain admissions to Israeli hospitals in some way or another suffer from cancerous tumors serious heart problems in addition to rare and intractable cases in the immune system.
Most of these children are hospitalized in Safra children hospital in Tel Aviv and banned from receiving funds from the Hamas-led government in Gaza.
Dr. Amos Thorn working for Safra hospital said that the PA decision to cut off funding for a large number of Gaza children means a death sentence on them while the director of children department pointed out that the problem of funding started immediately after the Israeli war on Gaza and for political reasons.
