Hamas Movement expressed its condemnation of the wave of political arrests the PA security apparatuses are launching against activists and ex-prisoners on Hamas’s 29th founding anniversary.
Fawzi Barhoum Hamas’s spokesman said in a press release on Thursday that PA security apparatuses are embarking on a campaign of political arrests in the West Bank which culminated in storming Hamas detained leader Jamal al-Hor’s house wreaking havoc on his home and beating his wife.
Barhoum urged the PA leadership and Fatah movement to bring such practices to an immediate halt while stressing the need to end security coordination with the Israeli occupation authorities in order to unite the Palestinian people and achieve their goals and aspirations.
