Hamas expressed its solidarity with the Sudanese people intheir suffering due to the floods that hit the Sudanese lands.
Izzat Al-Resheq a memberofHamasPolitical Bureau said in a press statement We followed with pain and sadnesswhat befell the Sudanese people as a result of the floods and torrents thatswept large areas of their lands and the massive damage they caused to livesand property.”
Hamas called on Arab and Islamic countries leaders peoplesand organizations to act urgently to provide the requiredassistance and solidarity with Sudan to get through this ordeal that afflictedit.
The Sudanese Authoritiesdeclared on Saturday a state of emergency throughout the country due to therecord floods that left dozens dead and damaged more than 100000 homesaccording to the official Sudanese news agency SUNA.
