Hamas on Thursday held the Israeli occupation responsible for the execution of the detainee Abdo at-Tamimi.
Muhammad Hamadeh Hamas’s spokesman said in a press statement that at-Tamimi was not suffering from any pre-existing diseases in contrast to the Israeli narrative that stated he died as a result of a heart attack.
Hamadeh added that the criminality of the occupation extends to all aspects of life of Jerusalemites as a part of the plans to empty Occupied Jerusalem of its residents.
He called on Palestinians to go out to the streets and participate in the funeral of the martyr as a declaration of solidarity and to deliver the resounding message to the occupier that the Jerusalemites will not be affected by all the brutal and oppressive occupation attempts.
On Wednesday evening Hassan Abd Rabbo the media advisor of the Palestinian Commission for Detainees’ and Ex-Detainees’ Affairs said that Abdo Yousef Al-Khatib at-Tamimi 43 had died while being held at the Moskobiya detention center in Occupied Jerusalem.
