Former political bureau member of Hamas Movement Ziyad al-Zaza died at dawn Wednesday of COVID-19 complications.
Zaza 66 was transferred to ICU in the European Hospital in Gaza City a couple of days ago after his health condition worsened.
The deceased had served as minister of transport in the government of Ismail Haneyya in 2006 then as a minister of national economy in Haneyya’s second government in 2007. He was later appointed as deputy premier and minister of finance.
