Hamas leaders on Sunday met with Qatari ambassador Mohammed al-Emadi in Gaza city.
Al-Emadi who arrived in Gaza on Thursday discussed with senior Hamas officials ways to break Gaza siege in addition to the latest developments of the Palestinian cause.
Both sides stressed the need for immediately ending the suffering of the Palestinian people in blockaded Gaza.
Al-Emadi who heads the Qatari National Committee for the Reconstruction of Gaza came to Gaza to inaugurate a series of Qatar-funded projects.
According to Palestinian sources al-Emadi met with the Palestinian Authority president Mahmoud Abbas in Ramallah a day before he arrived in Gaza.
