The Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas on Friday morning mourned the Palestinian martyr Ibrahim Abu Ya’coub who was shot dead by Israeli occupation forces in Salfit West Bank on Thursday night.
Hamas extended condolences to Abu Ya’coub’s family and stressed that Ibrahim’s blood as well as the blood of all Palestinian martyrs will not go in vain and will be the fuel that ignites the intifada against the Israeli occupation.
Hamas called for the largest participation in Abu Ya’coub’s funeral in Salfit in response to the Israeli crime.
The movement stressed that resistance at all levels is the only way to stop Israeli crimes and settlement and annexation plans in the occupied West Bank.
On Thursday night Israeli occupation forces shot Ibrahim Abu Ya’coub who was standing with a group of friends in Kifl Hares village in Salfit in the neck.
Abu Ya’coub died shortly after being admitted to the hospital.
According to local residents another citizen aged 17 was injured in the same shooting.
