The Hamas Movement mourned the Palestinian martyr Samih Amarneh who was proclaimed dead on Saturday after he succumbed to a serious bullet injury he sustained recently when the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) opened fire at him in Jenin.
The Movement underlined in a press statement on Saturday that the blood of Palestinian martyrs would ignite an intifada against the Israeli crimes hailing the bravery of the Palestinian freedom fighters in Jenin.
“The Israeli cold-blooded killing of Palestinians which violates all international laws and the international humanitarian law will boost the Palestinians’ strength and determination to combat the occupation” the Movement affirmed.
Earlier on Saturday thousands of Palestinians attended the funeral procession of the 37-year-old ex-detainee Amarneh in Ya’bad town in Jenin chanting national slogans and raising the Palestinian flags.
The funeral procession headed from Jenin Governmental Hospital to his home in Ya’bad town and then to his final resting place in the Ya’bad graveyard.
