The Hamas Movement has mourned martyr Mohamed Mar’iee who was killed at dawn Wednesday during clashes with the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) in Jenin City.
In a statement Hamas said that it “renews the pledge of allegiance to the Palestinian martyrs and promises them to uphold the path of resistance until the Palestinian people extract their rights and liberate their land from the Israeli occupation.”
“Martyr Mar’iee has joined the convoy of Palestine’s righteous martyrs whose pure blood and heroic sacrifices are considered fuel for the Palestinian people in their ongoing resistance against this criminal enemy and its settler groups” Hamas added.
The Movement also applauded the steadfast people of Jenin and its refugee camp and urged them to continue their resistance of the Israeli occupation.
Mohammad Mar’iee 25 was killed today after being shot by the IOF during an arrest raid in Jenin.
His death raised the number of the Palestinian citizens who have been killed since the beginning of the current year to 27 martyrs.
Later today thousands of Palestinian citizens in Jenin marched in the funeral procession of martyr Mar’iee
According to local sources dozens marched in the streets of Jenin denouncing the death of their compatriot while carrying his body to its final resting place.
The mourners also chanted slogans against the Israeli occupation and in support of the Palestinian resistance.
