The Hamas Movement has mourned architect Ibrahim Ghosheh one of its noted figures abroad who passed away on Thursday in the Jordanian capital Amman.
“Ghosheh passed away at the age of 85 after he had spent his life serving his people homeland and nation in Palestine and Jordan since the early bloom of youth” Hamas said in a statement.
In a related context the Hamas Movement has expressed its thanks to Jordanian King Abdullah II bin al-Hussein for allowing head of its political bureau Ismail Haneyya and head of its foreign bureau Khaled Mishaal to visit the country to attend the funeral of top official Ibrahim Ghosheh.
“Our highest gratitude and appreciation to His Majesty King Abdullah II for allowing our brothers to enter [Jordan] to participate in the funeral of [Ghosheh]” member of Hamas’s political bureau Ezzat al-Resheq said in Twitter remarks.
Resheq added that Haneyya and Mishaal are slated to arrive in Amman on Friday.
