QALQILIA (PIC)– Sheikh Sameh Mahmoud Afane one of the Hamas leaders in Qalqilia was subjected to cruel torture rounds at the hands of the preventive security apparatus loyal to de facto PA chief Mahmud Abbas to extract confessions that the Israeli occupation failed to secure sources close to his relatives said.
They noted that Sheikh Afane 36 was carried from Qalqilia to Ramallah to add more pressure on him and to subject him to more violent torture means.
The sources said that the Sheikh who is a member of Qalqilia municipal council was severely hit on his ear which affected his ability to balance himself while walking. He also suffers from severe nervous breakdowns as a result of the torture they added.
Afane was previously held in Israeli occupation jails but interrogators could not extract any confession from him despite severe military interrogation methods.
