The Hamas Movement has extended its sincere condolences to the President and people of the Republic of Indonesia over the tragic event that followed a football match in Malang regency East Java in Indonesia.
In a press statement on Sunday the Movement expressed its sympathy with the families of the victims who passed away after a riot broke out in the Indonesian football stadium.
The Movement mourned the deceased persons wishing a speedy recovery to the injured and praying for Indonesia and its people to stay safe from harm.
The latest available number of casualties caused by the riot stands at 174 while the number of people injured increased to 180.
The tragedy on Saturday night in the eastern city of Malang was one of the world’s deadliest sporting stadium disasters according to Indonesian media.
