The Hamas Movement has offered the Lebanese leadership its people and the bereaved families its sincere condolence over the victims of the deadly explosion of a fuel tank that happened at dawn Sunday in the Lebanese northern district of Akkar.
In a statement on Sunday Hamas said it received with great sadness and pain the news about the tragic incident that claimed the lives of several Lebanese citizens and wounded many others.
It also expressed its solidarity with the families of the victims and the wounded praying to Almighty Allah to bestow His mercy upon them and wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
At least 28 people were killed and 79 injured when a fuel tank exploded in northern Lebanon early on Sunday the health ministry said.
