A Hamas delegation led by Mousa Abu Marzouk member of Hamas political bureau met on Friday with Lebanese President Michel Aoun and Lebanese Prime Minister Tammam Salam and discussed the Palestinian conditions in Lebanon as well as developments of the Palestinian Question.
Both meetings were also attended by deputy political official of Hamas Movement in Lebanon Ahmed Abdel Hadi and Hamas representative in the country Ali Baraka.
Baraka said that the meeting with Salam tackled a number of issues including the continuation of Israeli settlement activity Gaza siege Judaization of Occupied Jerusalem Adhan ban and Palestinian reconciliation efforts. He underlined that Palestinians are keen on civil peace in Lebanon and have no ambitions in the country.
He pointed to the importance of dealing with the Palestinian refugees’ political humanitarian social as well as legal and security affairs in Lebanon on the basis of maintaining sovereignty of the country and adhering to the Palestinians’ right of return at the same time.
