Hamas rejects entry of foreign forces into Gaza

Monday 10-September-2007

GAZA (PIC)– The Hamas Movement on Monday rejected an Israeli foreign ministry plan that envisaged mandating a foreign country supportive of Israel to rule the Gaza Strip in stead of the Hamas Movement.

Dr. Khalil Abu Laila one of the Hamas leaders in the Strip said in a press release that Hamas had clearly declared that it would deal with any foreign force in the Strip as a new occupation power.

The Palestinian armed wings would resist those forces he said and explained that those forces would protect the Hebrew state and would monitor resistance moves and relay the information to the Zionists.

After the Palestinian resistance drove the Israeli occupation forces out of Gaza the IOF troops tried to return via other means to control the Strip such as controlling the crossings and cooperating with agents the Hamas leader underscored. However all those attempts failed and Hamas managed to get rid of the PA security apparatuses that were cooperating with Israel he elaborated.

However the IOF is now trying to achieve what they have failed to do through other parties under international cover Abu Laila underlined.
